It's that time of year again! Our Aveda Institutes, along with the rest of Douglas J's family of companies, is a proud sponsor of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Check out what we're doing to raise money for this great cause and see how you can get involved!
BEACON SYMPOSIUM July 17 - July 20

Career Fair August 16th, 12 - 4PM
Douglas J is preparing to host the 2010 Career Fair. This annual event allows Douglas J Aveda Institute students to participate in professional development presentations as well as meet state-wide and regional employers in the salon and cosmetology industry.
This year, Douglas J is proud to feature the redCHOCOLATE Team. Combined, David Adams, Virginia Meyer and Rudy Miles have over 50 years of experience in the fashion and beauty industry and will be doing a 90 minute presentation on hair color and make-up techniques using cutting edge technology. “redCHOCOLATE is the new approach to hair color education—an intelligent upgrade of the status quo, created under the belief that a hair colorist is not only an artist but also a professional,” says David Adams, President of redCHOCOLATE.
